Review of Sully (2016) by Chris F — 23 Dec 2016
This film is a true testament that miracles can happen, which in this case was an A320 that successfully landed in the Hudson River by pilot Chelsey "Sully" Sullenberger and Co-pilot Jeff Skiles.
What's truly remarkable is the aftermath that both pilots faced regarding their "decision" to save all 155 lives on their US Airways flight. Between being haunted by PTSD from such a frightening event and the rigorous investigation that ensues we see the untold story during and after the miracle.
Clint Eastwood has yet again done an amazing job in not only capturing the events during the flight, but the collaborative emergency response teams that assisted in saving the passengers. Furthermore another brilliant performance by Tom Hanks.
