Review of Streamers (1983) by Miguel A — 23 May 2011
Murky & claustrophobic, David Rabe's play about race and homosexuality gets the Altman treatment. As I've said before, I lack the Altman gene, and I feel as if I've just thrown away another two hours of my life I'll never get back.
I'm going to get my hands on a copy of the play, and if the subject interests you I'd recommend skipping the movie and go directly to the book.
