Review of Splash (1984) by Pat N — 14 Jul 2008
Watched recently after the space of about 10 years. Terrific high concept film from the mid 80's. Seems strange now to be watching Tom Hanks in more of a comedic role having gotten used to his more serious profile of late.
Darryl Hannah is gorgeous in this movie, hard to think what the finished film would have been like, had the executives had their way. John Candy is hilarious in this movie, an actor I really miss. The 'Enchantment' of the 80's!
