I like a feel-gooder. It is a classic overcoming your situation story. I also like movies where I recognize the scenery. I have lived in West Phoenix for 5 years and it was nice to see they used real screen shots from the neighborhood.
It was well acted and directed well. WARNING: ultra conservatives who are against illegal immigration may not like this movie.
