Review of Sicko (2007) by Daniel I — 15 Sep 2010
Yet another brilliant piece of film-making from Michael Moore.
A disturbing look at the American health service and some personal cases of people who have had their lives ruined by it, suffering various serious conditions and being unable to afford the payments they are forced to pay. Moore travels to the UK, France, Canada and Cuba to show how free medical care is taken for granted and asks why things can not be different in the States. Often heart-rending and brave film-making, once again for showing up the US government. A must-see film!
