Review of Show Boat (1951) by Bethany B — 18 May 2008
Overall, sort of an "eh" musical, with a few clever or moving scenes scattered throughout. "Old Man River" sung by William Warfield, however, is absolutely perfect. 5+ stars. The movie would be nothing without this song sung by this incredible actor/singer.
