Review of Samson and Delilah (2009) by Michelle W — 16 Jul 2009
Samson and Delilah is the story of two young Aboriginal kids and their lives and love.
I love films that are heavily visual and Samson and Delilah has barely any dialogue, its a film you get to just watch, which is how a film should be.
This film is so intelligent and wants to tell you about so many things, I could write a dozen essays quite easily.
The only problem I have is that a visual film should be visually interesting, Samson and Delilah probably due to a small budget just doesn't reach that mark. But this film is so good, the best of 2009 so far, though the Oscar hopefuls have not come out yet.
