I absolutely loved this film. It's shocking to me to see the lambasting reviews. The film is fast paced with interviews, photographs and it's all enriched with a soaring soundtrack. I've noticed that the majority of reviewers who didn't like the film also don't like the films of Baz Luhrmann.
If you like Baz-you'll love Salinger.
