Quite possibly my favorite movie of the year. A beautifully told "ironic" movie musical in which popular songs from the 60s and 70s actually enhance the storyline rather than detract from it or make it frying pan-bashingly literal (ahem, Across the Universe).
It also has what is easily Kate Winslet's most entertaining performance ever put to celluloid. Seriously, someone give this woman her own slapstick comedy right now!
