Review of Rodan (1956) by Gus S — 20 May 2008
One of the best Japanese giant monster films although very short at only 72 min. Good solid effects and a Them!-like beginning involving giant insects in a mine, add nice touches. Although the title monster is a bit unbelievable as a prehistoric species, that comes with the territory in Japanese films.
American-added scenes were annoying and completely unnecessary.
