Review of Rise of the Zombies (2012) by Sara B — 15 Feb 2013

Syfy channel presents this zombie apocalypse film with little to no creativity. San Fransisco became over run by zomebies, and few survivors escapes to Alcatraz but then the zombie could swim so they have to move to other places and find security and a possible cure.

The interesting aspect was that the epidemic was caused by microorganism and they are not immune to electricity, also the infection can be really fast. It's just fun to see Danny Trejo in this film, that's all there is really.

The plot was dumb, special effect was crap, a lot of unnecessary scenes and characters that served no purpose to the main storyline. The zom-baby seemed promising but is utterly useless when it got crushed by feet.
