Review of Riding Giants (2004) by Logan Z — 21 Aug 2007
This is one of my favorite documntaries ever made. I love the way Peralta lays out the history of surfing. The interviews are fantastic, the animation is beautiful. The whole thing is nostalgic in the best way possible.
Every time I watch this film I want to move to Hawaii and become a big wave surfer. this film will make you want to be a part of something, to be passionate about something in a way that it hurts, in a way that it controls your life.
This film is about being a part of somehing amazing, in nature. A life changing film.
