Review of Red Rock West (1993) by Bret — 14 Jul 2010
This is an excellent modern-day film noir, featuring the awesome force of Nicolas Cage.Red Rock West is what all films should be like. A genuinely interesting film with enough twists and turns to satisfy any sane human.
Vaguely reminiscent of "The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre" with a story about conscience, greed, and betrayal. It's great for the genre and close to being up to par with Chinatown.
