When you think of bad 50's sci-fi, this movie should be the first thing that comes to mind. unbelievably sexist and un-scientific, and Zsa Zsa Gabor could never have done anything less than over the top.
It's both ahead of it's time as a precursor to original Star Trek, and behind the times as the final death throws of 1950's misogyny. yes, one of the men even comments about female driving abilities and you never see a vehicle of any type on Venus. they prefer instead, to have a hilarious chase scene on foot (in heels!).
