Review of Queen & Country (2015) by Rob M — 02 Mar 2015
Excellent "small picture". All actors are first rate, interesting take on the evolution of "shell shock" to PTSD and David Thewlis and the "by the book" master sgt who makes the lives of the conscripts miserable, should be nominated for a best supporting actor role.
Costumes and production design evoke post WW II London very well. The story is satisfying and the entire film is very well acted and well done. I recommend it and it will be enjoyable as a DVD as well as there is no war violence depicted.
