Gary Oldman and Alfred Molina are obviously great actors. They are an such unlikely couple but I guess that's the whole point. Oldman is so authentic as an homosexual guy back in the days. But somehow the movie is lacking something, some depth, probably in the script and covered up by the amazing performances.
