Review of Priceless (2016) by Mitchell H — 20 Oct 2016
Great movie. Step away from the typical religious movie, which typically have a "preaching to the choir" feel to them. Focused on the subject matter of human trafficking, without a religious undertone.
Movie was quick to start, and didn't take the first 30 minutes just to introduce the characters. Instead, when the film starts you see the main character already on the road, as he begins a short and to the point voiceover introduction of the events in his life leading up to the opening scene.
A little show paced, but it's also a drama, not a thriller (contrary to what the top critic, Susan Wloszczyna, would like to think) or a documentary. A an emotional roller coaster at times, so if you cry easy, bring tissues.
Overall a great movie with a meaning.
