The journey of a man who is captivated, cornered and consumed by his criminal obsession. The movie plays around with a number of philosophical theories, most notably Nietsche's idea of the Ã?bermensch, but love and destiny are the ultimate trump cards.

Still, it feels like the movie should have been carried more by dramatic tension rather than the deadpan narration the director employed. (The movie is also child's play compared to Dostoyevsky's "Crime and Punishment") Aw watever, it's a freakin' good movie.
