Review of Persona (1966) by Tom J — 16 Apr 2012
Bergman is less of a director and more of an engineer of emotions. This film pushes the limits of experimental film making without getting redundant or losing focus of the over-arching narrative. Absolutely worth watching, but be prepared for the strange emotions that this film will evoke, Bergman knows what he's doing.
