The first third of the movie is genuinely creepy enough ... but then once "The 14" are sicced on the town, the flick devolves into a kill-by-numbers zombie movie.
Fumbling bumbling protagonists make things easier for the zombies, -- to the point that there are few charachters to cheer for.
HOwever, the movie does at least own up to the flaws in the established charachters, and doesn't try to squeeze in a feel-good ending...
