Review of Patton (1970) by Aaron D — 20 Mar 2008
Evidence that George C. Scott is the greatest actor of all time. He does not act as Patton, he IS this legendary general. Thankfully, the writers left out any kind of love story or romance aside from Patton's obsession with beating the Germans (and Montgomery) at every point.
They also managed to show him as a real person, not some one-sided glory hound. Best performance by any actor. Ever.
