Review of Paradise Now (2005) by Adam W — 16 Sep 2007
Really, really, REALLY good. This movie is absorbing, deep, tragic, and hopeful. All of the performances are quite impressive, as is the direction. It does not pander with "solutions" to tensions between Palestine and Israel, but simply allows us to observe.
For that, I think it is more powerful and real, and by connection more meaningful.
