Review of Paradise Lost 2: Revelations (2000) by Alan H — 15 Jul 2007
This is why you make documentaries. And films in general. Incredible. It's amazing these guys are still in prison for murder while Byers was never arrested. The filmmakers let Byers show how guilty he is by simply letting him talk.
He admits that he has hallucinations, that he has psychotic episodes, and that he was abused as a child (as the forensics expert suggests his murdered stepson was as well.) Why psychological profiling couldn't be used in this case is a tragedy.
As the review says, like the thin Red Line.
