Toronto International Film Festival 2012. Haunting story about a man who miraculously survives a car crash that should have taken his life, only to discover that he has cancer and must find his parents to help with treatment.

It's this journey that makes him unravel dark secrets from his past. --- Incredibly dark story, with just enough scary scenes for me. The entire cast is brilliant. Spanish movie but with cast from Iceland and Germany.

This was categorized in the Vanguard program at TIFF, and it does so well in defining that program - dangerous, sexy, creepy... I don't know what else I can say without giving it away, but it's definitely a suspenseful story.

Maybe a tad predictable, but the journey of getting there leaves you at the edge of your seat all the way through.
