Review of Outpost (2008) by Erin K — 18 Jan 2009
One of the top ten of the year!
Finally a zombie film that doesn't put me to sleep or bore me to death. I have gotten so tired of said films that I wince every time I have to pop one in the player. Great pacing and a creepy as hell atmosphere and setting combine to make Outpost a movie that is actually tense, scary, and downright terrifying. The gore was not over done, the director seemed to know in this case less was better. And by not fully showing the zombies, Baker allows your imagination of their appearance run wild. Great great film. The British should be proud.
