Review of Orpheus (1950) by Anne F — 31 Aug 2010
Do yourself a favour and netflix the trilogy, the first movie ( my favourite) is a silent from the late 20's then the next one is 1950 and the last in the 60's, Cocteau didnt make a lot of films but when he did I found him to be on par with hitchcock, wells and kurasawa, as I watched them I imagined neil Gaiman having enjoyed these when he was very young and perhaps influencing him as well, highest rating!
