I tend to mercilessly pick movies apart, so independent films never receive much sympathy from me. But this movie stands out from the pack. By far one of the best movies of the year. It has a few moments where the dialogue isn't perfect, but when the most dramatic moments come up, there are done beautifully, never drifting into melodrama.
