The negative critics reviews that I have read reflect the theme of the film...that adults forget what it's like to be a teen; the sense of powerlessness, alienation, loneliness, and sexual frustration that comes with the territory of being an American teenager.
Archie's Final Project is a compelling and incredibly relevant film, especially considering how many teens I knew in high school who thought about or committed suicide. This movie gives a fantastic insight into the mind of today's disillusioned youths, and sends out the powerful message to kids that "you are not alone.".
