Review of Mutual Appreciation (2005) by Daine V — 21 Sep 2007

Stumbles, over an hour in, onto a love triangle that's a (very) slow fade to nothing. Bujalski remains good on feelings, and he's great with (and for) actors, notably so for a filmmaker at such an early stage in his career.

I just hope he realises with his next film that, like his characters, he can take on a bit more structure without being said to have sold out.
