Review of Murmur of the Heart (1971) by Ben W — 06 Oct 2008
Probably my least favorite of the louis malle films of the era, but still a spectacular film. its a coming of age comedy about a boy and his relationship with women....mostly his mother. scary. its beautifully shot as all of malles films but it just doesnt seem to be quite up with the likes of au revoir les enfants or lacombe lucien.
