Review of Mulligans (2008) by Wayne H — 04 Nov 2010
Not bad for a little indy film. Plenty of melodrama and an average script but I liked it nonetheless. The cinematography was one of the highlights of the film. It's a story of a man who comes to terms with who he really is later in life - his eyes opened by his son's best friend who visits for the summer.
Unlike other reviewers I thought Charlie David's acting was fine but in my mind Derek Baynam as Tyler was the finest actor. I was never crazy about Thea Gill in Queer As Folk but my god she was bad in this film.
Her acting was so over the top she makes Shatner look understated. If you are a fan of Indy films then give this a shot.
