Review of Moonrise Kingdom (2012) by Sophie P — 03 May 2014
This is one of Wes Anderson's best films. The story of young love is told in such a whimsical and charming way. The teen romance film may be screwed over, but this one is surely one of the genre's best.
The characters are complex, and the visuals are just plain creative. Even the writing worked in a wonderful way. Moonrise Kingdom is Wes Anderson at his ultimate best. Plus, Bill Murray gives out such a hilarious performance, all of the actors were wonderful in the movie.
