Totally ridiculous and I loved it to bits. Monica Vitti looks fab, Terence Stamp a perfect sidekick to Modesty's spyinf hijinks and Dirk Bogarde is camp-tastic. It's the comic strip come to life and not to be taken seriously.
If you can forgive the silliness and can switch your brain to suspension of disbelief you'll have a much better time.
