Review of Mezzo Forte (2000) by Dan G — 27 Jan 2014
Yasuomi Umetsu's animation for gun battles and action sequences are undeniably superior to any other animations. Unlike "Kite", Mezzo Forte's story is lighter, it's just an action-adventure by our three heroes.
It's got the same feel as any other anime does, it's full of adventure and comedy. It's just a shame Yasuomi Umetsu had to put up a lot of unnecessary sex scenes again, totally irrelevant.
In "Kite", it's understandable due to the nature of the story, while this one is just for show.
