Review of Merrily We Live (1938) by Private U — 15 Dec 2007
I love Constance Bennett, and this is definitely one of her best films. Billie Burke is hilarious as the ditzy mother, and Bonita Granville was well-cast as the sassy younger daughter. This is the only film I like Brian Aherne in.
Altogether a cute, witty film that I adore!
