Review of Melancholia (2011) by Jose Gabriel R — 30 Mar 2013
An amazing showcase about depression, "Melancholia" explores topics about handling life's most stressful and difficult moments through this illness in a haunting end-of-the-world storyline.
Kirsten Dunst is absolutely superb in one of the best performances of her career, that along with the movie's dialogue and pace, bring a true and realistic depiction of depression. "Melancholia" explores sadness and happiness deeply and beautifully and It's also interesting from a psychological perspective.
A true gem.
