This story is too much about Mary and Percy's relationship and not so much about Mary Shelley. Prepare yourself for 90 minutes of boredom and 30 minutes of somewhat fast editing and wrapping up Mary Shelley's legacy.
?Melodramatic at most mainly because of a confusing script that doesn't know what to focus on. ?Also, Elle Fanning seems terrible miscast as the titular character as her acting is dull and seemed in serious need of an electrical charge.
