Review of Mao’s Last Dancer (2009) by B P — 12 Mar 2010
Simply stunning. This is one of the few movies lately I felt compelled to see more than once. I am slightly biased, being a student of Chinese language, but Chi Cao (who plays Li Cunxin) was handsome, funny and a brilliant dancer.
I honestly think this was one of the most worthy films I have seen in the last couple of years.
