Review of Manderlay (2005) by Sorin H — 19 May 2009
One of the best films in my recent history. Watching Lars von Trier's movies (and especially Manderlay) means learning something about the world we live in. I didn't read it as anti-American and neither do I think it has much to say about racism.
But it made me wonder - does it really matter what in the book as long as the book is nothing but an instrument for keeping the balance?
