Review of Love Battlefield (2004) by Christopher B — 21 May 2010

Heap on the HK melodrama as a couple go through a breakup (one of the reasons is the guy watched a porno.  Yikes!) and then the husband is kidnapped by criminals out to make a score.  Fortunately for me I love melodrama, and that?s mainly what this film consists of.

  It?s crazy how often they use slow motion as a love song plays on the soundtrack.  Interject that with people getting shot, run over with cars and having their heads kicked in and you have a fairly entertaining film.

  I did enjoy it, but I would not blame others for loathing this one for some of the very reasons I liked it.
