Engrossing look at the fiasco that was the 1996 version of "The Island of Dr. Moreau." Through interviews with the people who were there on set, you understand how a movie is not a magical artistic creation, but relies on teamwork toward a common goal.

That was not the case with "Moreau," and the examples include Stanley's erratic behavior, the wavering faith of his stakeholders, and the cast (including Brando, who seemed determined to treat the movie as a joke.
