Review of Loser (2000) by Chiek E — 15 Jun 2013
This is a hilarious movie. L is for loser Paul played brilliantly by starry eyed and good hearted Jason Biggs whose innocence, geeky manners made him the brunt of college bullies. We cannot blame Dan Aykroyd who played Paul's Dad for imparting Paul with the gem on how to make friends and win influence - 'Look at people in the eye genuinely and listen to people when they talk'.
Because such as advice would work on good people like sweet Dora but not on bad people like the school bullies. It is inevitable that small town Paul would lose his geekiness eventually after living in bad ass New York and become street smart.
