A muddled, well crafted but imho a rather flawed gangster movie that never quite decides what it wants to be.
Farrell is as cool as you like as reformed (or not) gangster Mitchell. Ray Winstone does his normal schtick as nutzoid gang boss "Gant". David Thewlis is great as fading thespian Jordan. Anna Friel is mental and quite cute as Farrell's sister. Ben Chaplin plays hard to like wastrel and Eddie Marsan's great casting agent strikes again.
