Review of Little Big Man (1970) by Ken W — 13 Nov 2007
An excellent film attempting to show all the most important moments of one man's extraordinary life.
Well made, wonderfully done.
Richard Mulligan's Custer is hilarious, Jeff Corey's Wild Bill Hickock is wonderful, and this is probably the greatest performance of Chief Dan George's career.
It's epic, touching, funny, expertly crafted/acted, and you just don't see that many movies with a gay indian these days! (Let alone in 1970).
