Review of La Strada (1954) by Jimmy M — 31 May 2007
The payout of emotional integrity at the end of the film is worth the viewing in its self. I have never felt such mixed emotions for characters in film like I felt in La Strada. Fellini was a master of character films, and the only writer-director of character films that I can think of.
The criterion is worth owning fort the multiple views of the Master of Cinema, Martin Scorsese, It is a real tear dropper listening to him speak about film.
