Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Ryan W — 19 Feb 2009
A masterpiece of cinema, with vivid images created by Fellini as if he is DaVinci painting another classic. Ok, ditching the cheesy analogy, this is still an engrossing piece of cinema, following a tabloid journalist on his many adventures through his life chronicling the rich and famous.
Our fascination then was as intense as it is now. The film is also about so much more then that, and the genius structure of the film only serves to further prove Fellini's brilliance as a filmmaker.
