Ahead of its time and a more realistic portrayal of Adult Asian American Men. .. because at the end of the day, they're just dudes... It doesn't have to be Asian American dudes... just dudes. No need to talk about their color.
Some of the jokes can range from really smart to down right raunchy. If you're a fan of Louis C.K., you'll feel that vibe of always getting the butt end of the stick permeate throughout the film.
In real life, not everybody is a hero... not everybody resolves their issues... and a lot of people keep failing. This film depicts that through humor and ridiculous situations, but in the end, you're still rootin for em.
Definitely a refreshing and unique film.
