Review of Kon-Tiki (2012) by Chiek E — 30 Jan 2013
Amazingly life-like great white sharks but a little hard to believe that they swim in warm waters near the equator. Even more unbelievable was seeing two men hauling a half ton shark onto their raft with their bare hands and a hook.
An adventure film with a scandinavian touch to it. Quiet and not overly dramatic. Most impressed with Anders Baasmo Christiansen for playing the refrigerator salesman engineer Herman both in acting and also eating the lion share of the supplies.
His raft mates had chiseled 6 packs at the end while he was able his chubby figure. The next thing now is to read the book.
