It's a good, not great, movie.
They should have called it "Breaking Bud" because it is a lot more like the TV series "Breaking Bad" than the type of stoner comedies the name "Kid Cannabis" brings to mind.
I actually enjoyed the piece but found my attention wandering at times. I think it would have benefited from a different director - someone who didn't also write the script - to tighten things up and bring focus to the important bits. As it stands the film is an imperfect telling of a good story.
