In my opinion, this was a poor remake. For one, only Annas and Mary's voices were really up to par. Everyone else either sounded too whiny (judas) or sounded like they were trying way to hard to get their voice to do something it wasn't used to (Caiaphas, Herod, Pilate).
It could have been worse, but it should have been much, much better.
